This is what you are allowed to do yourself:
Connect fittings
Change gaskets/mixing battery on fittings
Connect a toilet (water supply & drain)
Change gaskets in a toilet
Install floor heating
Connect floor heating to a central heating plant
Mount a steel wash basin in a table top
Connect the waste-pipe to a steel wash basin
Mount a wash basin on the wall or in a table top
Connect the waste-pipe to a wash basin
Connect a shower with pipe
Mount thermo valve for a radiator for central heating
Mount a thermo valve for a radiator for district heating*
Mount a thermo sensor on a thermo valve
Mount a radiator for central heating
Mount a radiator for district heating*
Mount connection and drains hose for a washing machine
Mount connection and drains hose for a dishwasher
Repair and expand a central heating plant
Repair and expand a district heating plant*
Replace a circulating pump on a central heating plant
Install a shower booth/shower screen

You must not do the following:
Connect floor heating to a district heating plant*
Connect floor drains
Repair and expand a domestic water plant
Connect water and drains for a shower booth
Connect energy line (gas/oil-fired furnace)
Mount sewer and drains pipe
Mount electric water heater and safety device

* District heating
Various rules apply in connection with repairs and expansion of district heating plants depending on the
district heating plant in question!! In many locations, you are allowed to carry out repairs yourself on
specific conditions. Get the correct answer by contacting your local district heating plant.
